Cookies Policy

About this Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files or similar data files that may be placed on your computer, mobile phone, tablet or another device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise a device, remember selected settings and support the delivery of online services. Other technologies, including pixels, tags, software development kits and local storage, may perform a similar function. In this policy, we refer to all of these technologies as cookies unless a distinction is needed.

Bethall Casino may use cookies when you browse its website, create or access an account, use account features, interact with content or contact the website through an available online channel. Some cookies are placed directly by Bethall Casino, while others may be placed by service providers that support website operation, security, analytics or other functions. The cookies used can vary according to the pages you visit, the features you use, your device and the choices you make.

This policy is intended to give you clear, practical information about cookies. It does not change any account terms, privacy rights, gambling requirements or other conditions that apply to your use of the website. If a separate notice or consent tool provides more specific information about a cookie, that information may also apply.

Your choices

You can usually manage cookies through the cookie preference tool made available on the website or through the settings of your browser or device. Refusing or deleting some cookies may affect how the website works. In particular, features that require a secure session, saved preferences or account access may not operate properly if essential cookies are blocked.

Types of cookies we may use

The cookies used on a website can have different purposes and lifespans. A session cookie is generally removed when you close your browser, while a persistent cookie may remain on your device for a set period or until you delete it. The actual duration of a cookie depends on its purpose and technical configuration. The following categories describe the types of cookies that may be used by Bethall Casino or its service providers.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies support core website functions and help the website respond to your requests. They may be used to maintain a secure session, remember information while you move between pages, support account access, protect forms, manage traffic or help prevent suspicious activity. Without these cookies, some parts of the website may not be available or may not work as intended. Because they are important to the operation and security of the website, they may not be available for opt-out through every preference setting.

Preference and functionality cookies

These cookies remember choices you make so that the website can provide a more consistent experience. For example, they may remember language, display, region, accessibility or other presentation preferences where those options are available. They can also support features that you ask the website to provide. If you decline these cookies, you may need to repeat certain choices during later visits.

Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help measure how visitors use the website and whether pages, links and features are working effectively. Information may be collected about visits, navigation, page performance, device type, approximate location or interactions with website content. Analytics information is generally used in aggregated or statistical form to identify errors, improve usability, understand demand and plan website improvements. These cookies are not intended to identify you directly, although information collected through them may be linked with other information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Advertising and marketing cookies

Where used, these cookies may help measure promotional activity, limit repeated advertising, understand how visitors respond to content or display information that is more relevant to their interests. Marketing cookies may be provided by Bethall Casino or by third-party services. You may be able to refuse these cookies through the website preference tool or your browser settings. Refusing them does not necessarily remove all advertising; it may instead make advertising less tailored to your interests.

Why cookies are used

Cookies and similar technologies may be used for several legitimate website purposes. They help Bethall Casino deliver online features, maintain security and understand how the website is used. The information collected through cookies may be combined with information you provide directly or information collected when you use an account, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

• To keep website sessions stable and support secure account functions.
• To remember preferences and settings that improve your browsing experience.
• To recognise a returning device and avoid asking for the same information repeatedly where appropriate.
• To detect unusual activity, reduce fraud risks and support the security of the website.
• To monitor website performance, identify technical issues and improve page design.
• To understand which content and features are useful to visitors.
• To measure the effectiveness of communications, promotions or other website activity where permitted.
• To support responsible operation of the website and help apply relevant access, security or account controls.

Cookies do not replace any identity, age, location, account or other checks that may be required before particular services can be used. They also do not guarantee that a visitor is eligible to gamble or access any feature. Any relevant checks and account requirements continue to apply separately.

Information collected

Depending on the cookie and the way you use the website, information may include your device type, browser type, operating system, general location, referring page, pages visited, actions taken, approximate visit times and technical identifiers. Cookie information may also record whether a preference has been selected or whether a message has been displayed. Bethall Casino aims to use this information for the purposes described in this policy and its Privacy Policy.

Managing, refusing or deleting cookies

When a cookie preference tool is available, you can use it to review and change the categories of non-essential cookies you accept. Your settings may be stored in a cookie so that the website can remember your decision. If you clear your browser data, change devices or use a different browser, you may need to make your selection again.

Most modern browsers allow you to view, block, delete or restrict cookies through their privacy or security settings. You can often choose to block all cookies, allow only first-party cookies, delete cookies when the browser closes or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Device settings may provide additional controls for tracking and similar technologies.

1. Open the privacy, security or site settings in your browser or device.
2. Review the available cookie, tracking and website data options.
3. Choose whether to allow, restrict or delete cookies.
4. If the website provides a preference tool, select the categories you want to allow and save your choice.
5. Revisit your settings if you use another browser, device or private browsing mode.

Blocking or deleting cookies may not remove information already collected before the change. It may also prevent some website features from operating correctly, including account-related functions, security controls, saved settings and certain interactive content. If you block essential cookies, you may be unable to sign in or use parts of the website. Your browser may also apply settings to websites generally, so changes could affect other services that you use.

Some third-party services may provide their own opt-out tools or privacy controls. Those controls are managed by the relevant provider and may not affect cookies placed by Bethall Casino or another provider. You should review the information supplied by the third party if you want to understand its practices.

Third parties, privacy and policy updates

Bethall Casino may use third-party providers to support hosting, security, analytics, communication, customer services, website performance or other online functions. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies on the website under their own technical arrangements. Their processing may be subject to their own privacy notices and terms. Bethall Casino does not control every setting or practice of an independent third-party service, so you should consider the provider's information when using its tools or content.

Cookie information may be processed or stored in Australia or another country, depending on the service and technical arrangements involved. Where personal information is handled, Bethall Casino will manage it in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements. The Privacy Policy explains more about the collection, use, disclosure, storage and handling of personal information, as well as the rights and choices that may be available to you.

Children and account users

The website is intended for people who are legally permitted to access and use online gambling services. Cookies must not be used as a substitute for age or eligibility controls. If you are not permitted to use the website, you should not access it or provide personal information through it. Account users should also keep their login details and devices secure and log out when using a shared device.

Changes to this policy

This Cookies Policy may be updated when the website, technologies, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be made available on this page, and the effective information may be highlighted through the website where appropriate. You should review this policy from time to time so that you understand the current use of cookies and the choices available to you. Continued use of the website after an update may be subject to the revised policy, while any consent choice will be handled through the available preference controls.

If you have a question about this Cookies Policy, please use the available contact or support options shown on the Bethall Casino website. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a general enquiry. For questions about personal information, also refer to the Privacy Policy and the privacy request process described there.
